"The Idea Behind Everything"

"Every movement starts with a conversation. CTB was born from a simple but powerful observation that creative talent was everywhere, but the awareness to protect and sustain it was not. We saw creators pouring everything into their work with little understanding of what happened to it once it left their hands. The Bench is where that idea lives. It is the foundation everything we do is built on, a commitment to making the creative world more informed, more fair, and more sustainable for the people who drive it. This is not just what we do. This is why we exist."

"Creative people have always existed. Musicians, writers, designers, filmmakers, content creators. The world has never been short of talent. But somewhere between the moment something is created and the moment it enters the world, something gets lost. Not the work itself, but the understanding of what that work actually is, what it means, who it belongs to, and what it is worth.

We looked around and noticed that nobody was sitting in that space. There were industry professionals on one side and creators on the other, and very little in between that spoke both languages. The conversations that creators needed to have were either too hard to find, too overwhelming to navigate, or simply never happening at all.

That is where the idea came from. Not from a formula or a business plan, but from a genuine recognition that this gap existed and that the people most affected by it were the ones who could least afford to be left uninformed.

CTB was built to sit in that space. To translate complex industry realities into language that every creator can understand. To open up conversations around ownership, structure, and creative decision making that have always been available but never made accessible. Because awareness is not a privilege. It is something every creator deserves from the very beginning."

THE IDEA

THE VISION

"We did not build CTB to stay small. We built it because we genuinely believe that creative work deserves better, and so do the people behind it.

From the very beginning the vision has been about people. About making sure that every creator, regardless of where they come from, what they make, or where they are in their journey, feels like there is a space that truly understands them. We want CTB to be that space. Not just in India but wherever creative work is being made, celebrated, and too often left unprotected.

We dream of a creative world where awareness is not something you stumble upon by accident or only find when something goes wrong. Where the right conversations are happening early, openly, and in rooms that welcome everyone. Through workshops, events, digital content, and a community that keeps growing, we are working every day to build that world one creator at a time.

Because this was never just about filling a gap in the industry. It was about showing up for people who deserved to be shown up for a long time ago. Every creator we work with, every conversation we have, and every space we build is a step closer to the kind of creative industry we all actually want to be part of.

We are just getting started, and honestly, we could not be more excited about where this is going."

THE STANDARD

"There are things we simply do not compromise on. Not because we are rigid, but because we care too much about the people we work with to ever show up as anything less than our best.

Every creator who comes to CTB is met with the same level of attention, respect, and genuine investment regardless of where they are in their journey. It does not matter if you are just starting out or if you have been in the industry for years. You get the same quality of conversation, the same depth of support, and the same commitment to making sure you leave more informed than when you arrived. That is not something we talk about. It is something we practice every single day.

We hold ourselves to a standard that puts people first. One that values honesty over convenience, clarity over complexity, and long term relationships over quick interactions. We would rather take the time to do something right than move fast and leave someone confused or unsupported.

And that standard extends beyond the work itself. It lives in how we communicate, how we show up, how we listen, and how we grow. CTB is always evolving but the core of what we stand for never changes. We are here for creators, fully and without shortcuts, and that will always be the standard everything else is built on."
